Samchon Bunsik was born when Kim Myung-soo and Kim Hyo-jin, a couple from South Korea, packed their recipes, their passion, and their corndog expertise and moved to India. They fell in love with Chennai — and Chennai fell in love with their food.
In Korean, Samchon means uncle. Bunsik means simple, inexpensive street food — the kind of food that feeds the soul, not just the stomach. That is exactly what we make.
We started as a restaurant in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai. Now we are bringing that same energy to your kitchen — through carefully crafted, restaurant-grade mixes and kits that let you cook authentic Korean street food at home, with no guesswork and no compromise.
